The second notice
协会各会员：
Members,
协会秘书处于今年6月28日已首次通知，我会2011[澳门]会员年会暨学术研讨会将于2011年10月27日(周四)和28日(周五)在澳门特别行政区召开。
The Secretariat had sent the first notice of 2011 [Macao] Annual General Meeting and Conference on June 28. The Conference shall be held on October 27, 28,2011 in Macao.
本次会议由我会主办。澳门特别行政区政府、澳门建筑协会及我会在澳门的会员单位支持。建筑相关媒体协助。
This year’s event is organized by us – WACA, with tremendous support from the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region and the Architects Association of Macau. Meanwhile, the meeting has earned vast media coverage from relevant architectural media.
会议期间将召开理事会、常务理事会、会员年会。将对2011学术奖的获奖者进行颁奖。还将举办新入会资深会员述职亮相会。会后将组织对澳门新城规划、新建筑的参观。
During these two days, meetings of the Council and Executive Councilwill be held. The WACA 2011 Awards Presentation Ceremony, together with the Introduction of new fellow members will also take place. Following the Conference we shallarrange a city tour around Macau, in which members are welcome to participate as they wish. 本次学术研讨会的主题为“城市·建筑·文化产业”，将围绕城市再造、城市建筑与文化关系问题展开学术研讨。协会拟请我会会员、香港严迅奇先生、澳门马若龙先生、台湾学者徐裕健教授等学者进行主题演讲。
The theme for this year’s conference is City·Architecture·Cultural Industry, concentrating particularly on urban regeneration and the relationship between culture and urban architecture. We are pleased to have invited renowned architects and also members of WACA, Mr. Rocco Yim(Hong Kong), Mr. Carlos Marreiros (Macao), as well as well-knownscholar, Mr. Yu-Chien Hsu (Taiwan) as our main speakers. They will each deliverkeynote speeches on the day.
我会各学术委员会亦将同时举办一次学术活动。
In the meantime, WACA’s academic committees shall carry out their activities & discussions.

本通知重点为以下两点：KEY POINTS
一、 由于澳门的特殊性，游客流量增长迅速，酒店房间供不应求。为避免临时到会找不到客房，协会要求所有会员务必在今年8月14日（周日）我会预订酒店最后确定住房数之前，用传真和电邮向秘书处报名。
报名时请注明您的信用卡号码等相关资料，凭此信用卡信息方可订房。如不愿用信用卡支付而用现金则请在现金栏注明。
随报名表并请立即向秘书处支付会务费。会务费金额为会员人民币1800元，同行人人民币800元。
用现金订房者则需会务费+人民币600元（第一日的住房保证金，此款直接支付给酒店不能退还）同时寄协会秘书处
报名表务请8月14日前传真或电邮协会秘书处。
Because of Macao's particularity and the rapid growth of the tourist current capacity, the hotel room is often in short of supply, so we request all members must fax or email the application form to the Secretariat before Aug.14 to avoid finding the guest room temporarily.
While filling the application form please offer your Credit card information for room reserving, after you fax the application form please remit the meeting cost RMB 1800.00 to Secretariat
If you would not like to offer the credit card information, please send in your payment of the Conference Registration Fee, together with one night’s accommodation fee for room reservation at time of application
You had better fax or e-mail your application form to the Secretariat before 14th August.
二 内地会员赴澳门手续
内地会员赴澳门因地区不同办理港澳通行证与签注时间有相当差异，最长的申请时间约需一个月之久。因此，内地会员务必在户口所在地的省市级公安局出入境管理处及早办理港澳通行证及签注。协会秘书处不能代办。建议出席会员与同行人接此通知即刻去申办。如会后想去香港需另申请香港签注。
Members from mainland China should note that the time taken for entry permit application to Hong Kong & Macau vary significantly depending on different regions and provinces - the longest could take up to a month’s time. Thus, affected members should enquire and apply for entry permits as early as possible at their nearest City Security Bureau Exit-entry Administration Department. The Secretariat will not provide such services. Should you wish to gain entry to Hong Kong after the Conference, please apply for relevant permits accordingly.
